Call the governor on school cuts
In Gov. Christie’s budget address, he proposed devastating cuts to our public schools. New Jersey’s public schools rank the best in the nation. We’re proud of that fact, but these cuts will undermine our schools. The Governor’s cuts mean class sizes will skyrocket, programs, teachers and staff will be cut, and your child will be shortchanged. Cuts hurt kids. This is the second time Governor Christie has taken money away from your local public school. Tell him you value your local public school. Tell him to stop taking money from your public school. Tell him his cuts will hurt our kids. There is a Web site: www.njkidsandfamilies.com that has a petition that constituents can sign and links to the e-mail addresses for the governor, his staff and all state legislators. Or call Gov. Christie: 609-292-6000 Meg Brinster Hardyston
