Birthday party

Celebrating its first anniversary in Franklin, Roberts Dairy Twist gave away free ice cream from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2. It was a fun time for people of all ages and dogs too. Fred Roberts said he was delighted with the turnout. “We had a great response to our party, probably 400 people showed up and we gave away 70 gallons of ice cream. People brought us birthday flowers and cakes.” The ice cream shop is owned and operated by Fred and Isabel Roberts and their son Timothy Roberts.
