BDC dancers earn awards

Lafayette — The BDC Dance Company from the Branchville Dance Centre, located in Olde Lafayette Village won big at Legacy Dance Championship dance competition that they recently attended. Among the many gold, elite gold and platinum awards they received for their solo, trio and group entries, the company was the recipient of the sportsmanship award for outstanding kindness toward others and their representation as a group. Specialty awards went to Sofie Mase, 8, who was named second runner up as overall mini soloist and first runner up for the title of Mini Ms. Legacy. Allyson Ryan, 17, was awarded third overall senior soloist and received two scholarships to attend summer dance programs.
