Vernon — Starting April 1, Vernon’s municipal offices may once again be open on Fridays. In a money-savings move township employees were put on a four-day work week last year. But many residents complained. Acting town manager Robin Kline told the Council at its Feb. 11 meeting that she has contacted the unionized workers about having them return to a five-day work week. She said the memo asked that any problems with this plan be brought to her attention. “The UAW has been cooperative,” she said.
