Associates honored by RoNetco

Hamburg — Barbara Hansen of Hamburg was honored at Ronetco Supermarkets’ 21st Annual Award Recognition Breakfast, held recently to recognize 173 ShopRite associates whose collective service exceeds more than 2,300 years. “This was the largest group of honorees we’ve ever recognized. It represents 12 percent of our staff,” said Dominick J. Romano, vice president and COO. “And we attribute our success to the commitment and dedication of our associates.” RoNetco Supermarkets, operators of ShopRite stores in Northwestern New Jersey, recognized associates whose tenure ranged from five years to 40 years. Gold service pins and commemorative gifts were awarded. Hansen and Margo Johnson from Hackettstown were honored for 40 years of service; 11 associates were honored for 35 years; 14 for 30 years and eight associates were inducted into the Quarter Century Club. Honorees included associates from each of the seven ShopRite stores, including representation from ShopRite Liquors of Byram and the corporate offices headquartered in Ledgewood.
