A day of fall fun at Hamburg School
| 22 Feb 2012 | 10:00

Eighth-graders at the Hamburg School dressed in their finest country clothes and created a Fall Festival for the school’s preschoolers and first-graders, who were treated to a full morning of activities, including a hay maze donated by the Predmore Farm of Vernon, gourd painting, arts and crafts, face painting, corn stalk limbo, a hay stack treasure hunt and a pumpkin decorating contest. Hamburg School prides itself on teaching social awareness as well as academics. Students are learning the importance of participating in their community as well as the personal rewards that can be achieved by doing acts of kindness for others.
