Two of West Milford's bravest graduate from fire academy

Morris County - Rich Poplaski, Jr., and Alex Klenofsky, two West Milford firefighters, graduated from the Morris County Fire Academy on Feb. 5, completing their Junior Firefighter 1 training course. Poplaski, from West Milford Fire Company #1 Apshawa, and Klenofsky, from West Milford Fire Company #5 Upper Greenwood Lake, completed the three-week-long course in the summer and were taught basic first aid, car fire attacks, and structural fire attacks, amongst other topics. Poplaski accepted his certificate from his father, former Chief Rick Poplaski, Sr. Klenofsky received his certificate from former Chief Ed Ollearo, Sr., and firefighter Larry Tornow.
