Three students win $1,000 scholarships

Courtney Ferris of Lenape Valley Regional High School, Jennifer Tobin of Sparta High School and Sean Glowatski from Kittatinny Regional High School have been named winners of the 2010 Sussex County School Administrators and Supervisors Association scholarship award. They each win a $1,000 scholarship toward their college studies. Over 30 students submitted applications which highlighted academic achievement and community service along with a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach, or advisor from their school. Students also submitted essays explaining why they wished to become a teacher.
