Teachers of the year

One educator in each building in the Sparta district was recently named Teacher of the Year. Those honored were Stephanie Bernardo, Helen Morgan School media specialist; Patty Auger, Alpine School special education; shown with Dr. Thomas Morton, Sparta superintendent; Karin Rennie, Mohawk Avenue teacher; Dawn Blanos, Sparta Middle School sixth grade language arts; and Angela Trzcinski, Sparta High School chemistry teacher.
