Sylvester enters PGA Golf Management Program

JEFFERSON — Ryan Sylvester, Jefferson High School Senior, has announced that he will be attending Coastal Carolina University, South Carolina Campus this fall.
Sylvester was accepted into the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program and will seek a degree in Business Management/Marketing.
The PGA Golf Management (PGM) Program, a four-and-one-half year university curriculum for aspiring PGA professionals, is a structured educational program accredited by the PGA of America. The PGA Golf Management Program provides students with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the golf industry through extensive classroom studies, internship experiences and player development opportunities.
CCU PGM graduates are filling professional management and leadership roles in some of America’s top 100 golfing facilities. In addition, Ryan will be continuing his golf career and will be playing on local club teams throughout the year.
Ryan, recently was selected as a 2013 All-Herald first team member and second team member in 2012, played on the Jefferson High School golf team, which was undefeated (23-0); ranked 14th in the Star Ledger.
