Nicole Halpin of Stockholm and Oliva Klemm of Oak Ridge were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Rider University in Lawrenceville. Daniel McDougal of Lafayette was named to the dean’s commendation list for the fall 2009 semester at Gettysbury College in Pennsylvania. Erin Edwards of Franklin was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Leigh Kabatra of Franklin was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Emory College in Atlanta. Matthew Reich of Hamburg graduated from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pa. Naum Minchin of Sparta and Jesse Lerch of Wantage were named to the dean’s list honors for the fall 2009 semester at Connecticut College in New London, Conn. Northeastern University in Boston has named the following local students to its dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester: Anne Jessica Roe of Vernon; Glenwood resident John Reda; Hamburg resident Jaykishan Patel, who is majoring in business administration; Ogdensburg resident Caitlin Dunn, who is majoring in business administration; Stockholm resident Charlene Armstrong; Sussex residents Rebecca Eng-Wong, who is majoring in cultural anthropology; Daniel Trovillion of Sussex, who is majoring in criminal justice, and Vernon resident Adam Romano. Amanda Kent, a 2009 graduate of Pope John High School made the dean’s list for the fall 2009 at The Ramapo College of New Jersey. Jessica Coursen, of Sussex, a student at High Point Regional High School, has received a scholarship to attend Berkeley College. The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania: Margaret M. Leggour, of Glenwood, a freshman majoring in elementary education; Kenneth C. Murphy, of Hamburg, a freshman majoring in communication studies; Andrew M. Berke of Vernon, a junior majoring in exercise science; and Karissa A. Ochoa, of Wantage, a freshman majoring in sociology.
