Yvonne Jane Smith

Yvonne Jane Smith (nee Westenski), 76 years old, died suddenly on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. Born to Alex and Nellie Helen Westenski in Sussex, N.J., she had lived in Wantage Twp., NJ for 28 years before moving to Frankford Twp., NJ in 1986.

Mrs. Smith was a self-employed housekeeper for many years and enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur G. Smith (2004) and her son, Wilbur G. Smith, II (2011) and was the devoted mother of Annette Bross of Frankford Twp., NJ. Mother-in-law of Debbie Smith of Norfolk, Va. Loving grandmother of Kevin Smith and his wife, Roberta, and Dana Smith all of Norfolk, Va. Great-grandmother of Connor and Liam. Dear sister of Kathleen Glynn of Franklin, N.J., and LuAnn Riker of Gainesville, Fla. Cousin of Eileen DeGroat of Sussex, N.J. Best friend of Archie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends for a Celebration of Life at Private Charles Auberger Memorial American Legion Post #213, Route 23, Sussex, N.J., on Saturday, July 26, 2014, from noon to 3 p.m. Cremation services were by Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ.
