William Herbert Clark

William Herbert Clark, 71 years old, died after a brief illness at Newton Medical Center, Newton, N.J., on Friday, May 30, 2014. Born to John and Sadie Clark in Sussex, N.J. He was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and Franklin, N.J.

Mr. Clark worked as a truck driver for Biscak Trucking in Franklin, N.J., for many years retiring in 2009. He was an exempt member of the Hamburg Fire Department and an honorary member of the Franklin Fire Department.

Mr. Clark was predeceased by 2 nephews; James and Donald Slate, and was the devoted father of John W. Clark of New York, Justine Kody and her husband, Joe, of Milford, Pa., Christopher Raymond of Franklin, N.J., and Crystal Talmadge and her husband, Charlie, of Franklin, N.J. Dear brother of Irene Slate and her husband, Donald, of Wantage Twp., NJ. Cherished by 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a niece and nephew.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., NJ. Memorial gifts to the family would be appreciated.
