Tiara Christine Ross of Franklin passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with Von Hippel-Lindau disease (VHL). Her loving family was at her side. She was 17.
Born in Newton on Dec. 20, 2005, Tiara was entering her senior year at Wallkill Valley Regional High School.
She loved baking and making sweet treats for her family. Tiara enjoyed spending time watching “Chopped” with her mom.
She loved shopping and hanging out with her friends. Above all, Tiara loved spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed big family gatherings when everyone was together.
Predeceased by her grandfather, Larry Ross, Tiara is survived by her adoring parents, Chris and Karen Ross. She was the devoted sister of Taylor, Tanya, Tamia and Christopher Jr., cherished granddaughter of Wanda Smith, Michael Dawkins and his wife Sindey, and Christine Googe; Beloved great-granddaughter of William Smith; and loving aunt of Ebrahim ”EJ” Jobe. She was cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins and by her best friends, Katie Van Tassell, Promise Dowe and Jordyn Siedel. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Luna.
Arrangements are under the direction of F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin. A Celebration of Life will be announced shortly.
