Terry Lee Herman of Andover Borough, N.J., died Sunday, April 25, 2021, at home. He was 75.

Son of the late Leland and Ruth Frantz Herman, he was born Nov. 1, 1945, and raised in Colden, N.Y. Terry lived in Parsippany, N.J., before moving to Andover Borough.

He was a mechanical engineer for 42 years with Ohaus Scale Corporation before retiring from Flextronics in Parsippany in 2011. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Terry’s hobbies included wood crafting and cross stitching. He also enjoyed puzzles and riding rollercoasters.

Terry is survived by his wife, Marie Herman; children, Jennifer Lavery of Clayton, N.C., Jeremy Herman of Stanhope, N.J., Jill Phillips of Vernon, N.J., Jodi Jones of Vernon, N.J., Joshua Herman of Greentown, Pa., and Jacqueline Eastridge of Montague, N.J.; and sister, Onaly Baker of Tampa, Florida. Terry was the grandfather to 16 grandchildren.

Visitation was held May 3 at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, Newton, N.J. Funeral services were held May 4 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Newton.
