Stanley Lazorczyk

    It is with great sadness that the family of Stanley Lazorczyk announces his passing on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021. He was 56.

    Stanley “Stosh” Nicholas Lazorczyk of Wantage, N.J., was born on Sept. 24, 1964, in Passaic, N.J.

    Stanley is predeceased by his parents, Walter andBernadine Lazorczyk and his sister Nancy Lazorczyk.

    Stanley served the City of Passaic for 25 years as a police officer. Prior to becoming an officer, he was an Auxiliary Police Officer in the City of Passaic and worked at The General Hospital Center. After retiring from the Passaic Police Department in 2017, Stanley returned to work at St. Mary’s General Hospitalas an armed security officer in the emergency room.

    He was a loving Husband and Father. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Roxann, and his three beautiful children, Nicholas, Christopher,and Alexandra. His brother Walter, wife Gina and nephew Walter, of Hardwick, his brother Michael and sister Kathleen Lazorczyk of Hackettstown, his mother-in-law Gilda Paradiso of Wayne, brothers-in-law Anthony and wife Joanne of Belaire, Texas, Steven and wife Charisse and niece Sydney of Rockaway, Mark and wife Mary Ellen of North Haledon, and children, Sarah and Evan. Stanley is also survived by extended family and many loving friends.S

    Stanley was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also had a love of landscaping, which he took great pride in. He was loved by all and will truly be missed.

    The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the St. Mary’s Emergency Room and ICU staff for their kindness, love, and care of Stanley.

    Visitation was held Jan. 12 at the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton. Funeral Services were held Jan. 13 at the funeral home. Cremation was to be at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
