Shirley F. Dunn of Frankford Township, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at Newton Medical Center from the Covid-19 virus. She was 87.
Born in Morristown, N.J., on November 6, 1933 to the late Frank Emmons and Ethel May Connelly, Mrs. Dunn lived in Wharton, N.J., and then Venice, Fla., before moving to Sussex County 11 years ago to be by her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Dunn.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by her sons, Keith Dunn and his wife, Sherry, of Wantage, N.J., and Cliff Dunn of North Carolina; daughter, Valerie Dunn of Venice, Fla.; grandson, Shane Dunn of Wantage; sister, Louise Crowell of Sparta, N.J.; and her nephew, Robby Crowell of Pennsylvania.
Due to the current government health restrictions, private burial services at Beemerville Cemetery have been entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, Sussex, N.J.
