Roy J. Meyer

Roy J. Meyer, 68, died Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Chilton Medical Center in Pequannock Twp. Mr. Meyer, son of the late Alfred and Mussette (Thompson) Meyer was born in Passaic February 26, 1946. He resided in Wallington before moving to the Lake Tamarack section of Hardyston 35 years ago.

Mr. Meyer was a carpenter for Nurminen Construction in Hawthorne. He was a member of former Local #15 which is now Local #256. Mr. Meyer was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

Mr. Meyer is survived by his wife Louise (Salvio) Meyer; children, Roy F. Meyer and his wife, Connie, and their child, Brianna, of Hamburg and Tiffany Meyer-Bozydaj and her husband, Eddie, and their child, Logan, of Highland, N.Y.; brother, Jack Meyer of Pennsylvania and sister, Nancy Filipowicz of West Milford.

The family will welcome friends and relatives to pay their respects on Saturday April 26, 2014 from noon until 2 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St. Franklin.
