Robert J. Storms

Robert J. Storms died on Monday, June 9, 2014. He was 65.

Born in Paterson, he lived in West Milford before moving to Dingmans Ferry, Pa. 12 years ago.

Bob was a fabricator at Hulco-Layton Garage, Layton, where he restored old cars. He was a member of the Drifter's Car Club and Wanderer's Car Club both in Sussex.

He is survived by his wife Debra L. (Smith) Storms, a son Robert Storms, Jr. of Vernon, a step-son Michael Riker of Montague, two daughters, Jennifer Bishop Storms of West Milford and Megan Stickle of Arkansas, a step-daughter Rebecca Riker of Rockaway, five brothers, Earl of California, Ken of Clearwater, Fla., Jerry of Warwick, N.Y., Donald of Oak Ridge, and Ronald of Florida, one sister Arlene Storms of California and four grandchildren: William, Alex, Makayla d Abigail Riker.

His parents Earl and Lucy Martha (Kitchell) Storms predeceased him.

Visiting will be held at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford, from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 13, with the funeral service at 8:30 p.m. Final disposition will be private.
