Raymond Jerome Ganz

Raymond Jerome Ganz, Jr., 80 years old, died unexpectedly at Newton Medical Center, Newton, N.J., on Monday, April 28, 2014. Born to Raymond and Louise Ganz in Bronx, he was raised in the Bronx and has lived in the Stockholm section of Hardyston Twp., N.J., since 1966.

Mr. Ganz served in the United States Merchant Marines and then the United States Army and then was a mechanic and became the co-owner of Beaver Lake Auto in Hardyston Twp. since 1980.

Mr. Ganz is predeceased by 2 sisters, Virginia and Joan and is the beloved husband of Carmen Louise Ganz of Stockholm, N.J. Devoted father of Jennifer Reickman and her husband, Bart, of Vernon Twp., N.J., and Raymond Ganz, III and his wife Pattie of Hamburg, N.J. Loving grandfather of Desiree, Olivia, Eric, Shayna, Jade and Jenna.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin, N.J., on Friday, May 2, 2014, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., N.J.
