Mary J. Piscopo

Mary J. Piscopo (nee Manetta) died on Wednesday July 12, 2017. Mary was born on January 23, 1930, in Long Island City, L.I., N.Y. to the late Benjamin and Marguerite (Petrilli) Manetta. Mary was a longtime resident of River Vale before moving to Hamburg.
Mary was a Head Cook for the River Vale Nursing Home and the Hillsdale School System before retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Vernon Senior Citizens and a parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle Church, Hamburg, N.J.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Frank Rosario Piscopo, a brother, Thomas Manetta, a son, John Piscopo, a granddaughter, Melanie Miller Peluso.
Mary is survived by her children, Mary Ellen Miller of Newton, Debbie Piscopo-Voss and her husband George of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Frank Piscopo and his wife, Maureen of Beaver, PA and Laura Piscopo of Hamburg, and her 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday July 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ. The family will gather at the funeral home on Saturday July 15, at 9:30 a.m. for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Cremation services are private.
