    Marie Antonia Zsiray(nee Stivala), 91 years old, died after a short illness at her residence at Bristol Glen in Newton, N.J., on Monday, June 2, 2014. Born to Luigi and Concetta Stivala in Montclair, NJ, she spent many years in Pompton Plains, N.J., and then Hardyston Twp., N.J., for two years before moving to Newton, N.J., 3 years ago.

    Marie worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in Newark, N.J., and then as a cashier for Meyer Brothers in Wayne, N.J. She enjoyed knitting, reading and bowling.

    Marie was predeceased by her husband, Stephen W. Zsiray, Sr.(2006) and was the devoted mother of Stephen W. Zsiray, Jr. of Logan, Utah, and Patricia Quinn of Hardyston Twp., N.J. Loving grandmother of Sean Quinn, Rev. Brian Quinn, John and Jennifer Zsiray. Cherished great grandmother of Aspen and Aiden Zsiray. Dear sister of Angelo Stivali of Pequannock, N.J.

    The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 9-10 a.m. Funeral from the funeral home at 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis deSales RC Church, Vernon, NJ at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Hardyston Twp., NJ.
