Joyce A. Cetrino

Joyce A. Cetrino (nee Peterson), 75 years old, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. Born in Oakland, N.J., she had lived in the Scenic Lakes section of Vernon Twp., NJ for many years before moving to Newton, NJ 10 years ago.

Mrs. Cetrino worked as a banker at Lakeland Bank in Andover, NJ for many years before retiring in 2012. She was a parishioner and soloist at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, and took great joy in singing and being with people.

Mrs. Cetrino was predeceased by her husband, Richard V. Cetrino (1989) and was the devoted mother of Richard A. Cetrino of Newton, Julie K. Cetrino of Newton and Brett Cetrino of Montague. Loving grandmother of Brett Tyler Cetrino and dear sister of Albert Peterson of California.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94 (1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-8:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Cremation is private.
