    Jennie C. Ramage went to be with her lord surrounded by her family on June 13, 2014, in Burlington, Pa., loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born on Jan. 27, 1931, in Ogdensburg, N.J., daughter of Wade H. and Susie Jacobus Phillips. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Wade H. Phillips, Jr. and granddaughter, Felicia Sanabria.

    She is survived by her husband Richard of 66 years, daughter Joyce Faasse (Robert), daughter Patricia Sanabria with whom she lived, daughter Louise Blodis and son Richard J. Ramage, Jr. (Carren), 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, along with several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

    Jennie was formerly employed by Accurate Forming in Ogdensburg, NJ, Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, N.J., and Wal-Mart in Franklin, N.J. Jennie was an exempt member of the Ogdensburg First Aid Squad, where she was the treasurer for a number of years. She has been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for (51) years working her way up the chairs to become president of the Unit several times. She is now a member of Unit 213 in Sussex, N.J. In 1993-94 Jennie was elected to the high office of the American Legion Auxiliary, Department of New Jersey as president, to serve one year, then one year as National Executive Committeewoman. One of the many rewarding experiences was placing a wreath of flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown in Washington, D.C. She received an award from the Chapel of the Four Chaplains in Valley Forge, Pa., for her service with the American Legion Auxiliary. A very special “thank you” to all the staff on the fifth floor of Hematology/Oncology at Robert Packer Hospital and all others that showed such loving care that touched Jennie’s life.

    Relatives and friends attended her funeral service 8 p.m. on Wednesday June 18, 2014, at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin, N.J. American Legion Auxiliary Services were held. Burial will be at the convenience of the Family. Jennie will be buried next to her granddaughter Felicia at the Mountain Lake Cemetery in Burlington, Pa.
