Dorothy 'Dottie' E. Margarum

    Dorothy "Dottie" E. Margarum, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Bristol Glen. Born in Union City to the late Charles and Freda (Harm) Roveda, Mrs. Margarum has lived in Sussex County since 1942. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for Winter's Auto Parts in Sussex for 20 years and retired in 1982. Mrs. Margarum was a member of the Sussex-Wantage Library Board Association, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sussex Fire Department, taught Sunday School at the First Presbyterian Church of Sussex, and was a Red Hat Lady. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore; her brother, Harold Roveda, and her sister, Madeline Hunt. She is survived by her son, Ford Margarum and his wife, Mary, of Franklin; her daughter, Jane M. Dunstan and her husband, Richard, of Wantage; her four grandchildren, Lindsay Margarum of Hoboken, Courtney Margarum of Boston, Erin Dunstan of Hamburg, and Ashlee Haggerty and her husband, Devin, of Bethlehem Twp., New Jersey; and one great grandson, Mason Haggerty. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Thursday, April 17, 2014, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
