Anna Tellini

Anna Tellini, 98 years, died unexpectedly at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Friday May 2, 2014. Born in Cardato-Reggio-Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Francesca (Benedetto) Fotia.

Anna has been a resident of Hamburg for the past 19 years and prior to that had resided in Teaneck, NJ. Over her many years she was very devoted to her family. She was a member of Saint Jude the Apostle Church in Hamburg and was a former member of the churches’ senior citizens group.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Aldo Tellini (2000), and three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children, a son Alexander Tellini of Hamburg, a daughter Louise Competielle and her husband, William, of Ogdensburg, a brother, Sebastian Fotia, and his wife Ann, of Toms River, N.J. along with granddaughters Debbie Kistle and her husband Jeff of Sandyston, and Teri Competielle of Ogdensburg. And great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Melissa, and Kelsey Kistle.

Relatives and friends attended her funeral on Monday May 5, 2014 at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home 1 Main St. Franklin. Mass of Christian Burialwas at Saint Jude the Apostle Church 4-24 Beaver Run Road Hamburg. Entombment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery-Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from 2pm to 5pm.
