Home again to begin a law career

Sparta Megan Kral, Esq., of Vernon, has joined the law firm of Laddey, Clark & Ryan in Sparta. Kral is a 2001 graduate of Vernon Township High School. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Classics and Political Science at Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y. Before graduation she spent six months at Oxford University in England studying International Human Rights before graduation. A 2008 graduate of the New England School of Law in Boston, Kral received the Anne E. Hirsch Award for her dedication and service to the students, community and profession. Following graduation, she moved back home to Vernon Township and accepted a law clerkship with the Honorable Edward V. Gannon of the Sussex County Superior Court. “What attracted me to Laddey, Clark & Ryan was the opportunity to experience both the challenges and rewards of practicing law in the community where I grew up,” said Kral. “We are very impressed with Megan’s intellect, her work ethic and the passion she has for the practice of law,” said Thomas Ryan, managing partner. “Our attorneys were unanimous in their praise for the work Megan was doing for the court, and how she handled herself in both the courtroom and in her interactions with our attorneys.” “Megan is taking her experience at the courthouse and seeing how cases are to be presented as an advocate,” said Richard Clark, senior partner. “She knows how the decision process works and will provide that unique insight to the firm’s clients.”
