Cox honored by law firm

Newton The law firm of Dolan and Dolan, P.A. of Newton recently honored its partner, William Martin Cox, at a dinner and reception held at Perona Farms. Among those offering reminisces and recollections of their long associations with the honoree included Joseph Doyle of the New Jersey Planning Officials and the Honorable Frederick Gordon Weber, a retired judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Cox’s many contributions to the New Jersey Law of Land Use, Zoning and Planning, his work in drafting the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law and his continuing efforts to improve Planning and Zoning Law in the State of New Jersey were recalled by the speakers. Resolutions of the New Jersey Senate, the New Jersey General Assembly and the Sussex County Board of Freeholders were presented by Roger Thomas, one of Cox’s partners in recognition of the honoree’s many accomplishments and contributions over his 60 years of practice with the law firm. Cox will remain of counsel to Dolan and Dolan and will be available as a continuing resource to the firm, for consultation and advice to his partners.
