    Four Sussex residents have been named to the fall 2009 dean’s list at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. They are: Christopher Siano, Sarina Lavooy, Brian Merusi and Caitlyn Doran. Travis Bloodgood of Stockholm and Matthew Cornish of Sparta have been named to the dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester in the Villanova University’s School of Business in Villanova, Pa. Kelsey Falkowski of Andover has been named to the dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester in Villanova University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Villanova, Pa. Meredith Mayes of Newton has earned a doctor of physical therapy degree from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa. As part of a required Capstone project that focuses on the evidence-based practice of physical therapy, Mayes presented a Research Platform Session presentation on: “Reliability of a New Clinical Measurement of Scapular Orientation and Position.” She also was one of 19 graduates who studied abroad in Guatemala. John Walker of Stockholm was awarded a bachelor’s degree in history, with a minor in sociology/anthropology, from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. William R. Holdsworth of Sparta graduated in December 2009, cum laude from Montclair State University, with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in nutrition. He has been accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic’s West Campus beginning spring 2010. He is the son of William J. and Phyllis Holdsworth and a 2005 graduate of Sparta High School. Rebecca Roodenburg of Oak Ridge and Bryan Neumann of Sparta have been named to the fall 2009 dean’s list at the University of New Haven in West Haven, Conn. Christine Krueger of Vernon has been named to the fall 2009 dean’s list at the University of Delaware. She is a junior. Samuel D. McMullen of Newton has been named to the fall 2009 dean’s list at Marist College, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He is a member of the Class of 2011 and is majoring in athletic training.
