    Hannah Sporer of Oak Ridge has been accepted to the pilot year of the University of Delaware Horn Program in Entrepreneurship Student Ambassador program. This student will create awareness and drive participation to programs and events at UD and in the community.
    Zakariya Sheikh, is one of the many students to participate in Stevenson University's annual service day known as Mustangs Make A Difference Day.
    MMAD Day is a university-wide day of service, where clubs and organizations on campus set up varying volunteer opportunities for students to participate in. Some of the service activities included: stream clean-up, book drive, bird feeders, and card making.
    Corinne Mulvanerton of Franklin earned a bachelor of arts in Anthrophology/Sociology from Roger Williams University.
    Alexis Bishop of Oak Ridge took part in the annual Mid-Atlantic European Union Simulation held in Washington, D.C., Nov. 9-12. Bishop was one of 20 students from Susquehanna University to attend the event.
    Participating schools research their particular country's interests in the union in order to represent that country at the simulation. The simulation involves meetings of the European Union (EU) Council, two parliamentary committees and two Councils of Ministers. During the three days, students have the opportunity to visit the embassy of the country that they represented in the simulation.
    The program is designed to engage students in discussion about topics currently debated by EU members. The Susquehanna team was accompanied by Associate Professors of Political Science Andrea Lopez and Nicholas Clark.
    Samantha McCurry, a 2014 graduate of Wallkill Valley Regional High School, was installed into Phi Beta Kappa at George Mason University.
    Phi Beta Kappa is widely considered to be the nation's most prestigious honor society with only about 10% of American colleges having a chapter, and only approximately 10 percent of these schools' Arts and Sciences graduates are invited to join the society.
    She will be graduate from George Mason University in December 2017 with a degree in Government and International Politics and will go onto law school following her graduation.
    Katie Hatler of Oak Ridge was named to the dean's list at Lehigh University for the Fall 2016 semester.
    Dean's list status is awarded to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly-graded courses.
    Brianna Periu and Tyler Radice, both of Stockholm, were named to the dean's list for the Fall 2016 semester at Mansfield University.
    To be named to the Dean's list, a student must attend the university full-time and earn at least a 3.5 GPA.
    Julianna Theresa Verso of Hamburg and Christina A. Orleanski of Lafayette were named to the dean's list for the Fall 2016 semester at Caldwell University.
    In order to achieve this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.
