    Anthony Castelluci and Dallis Guillemin, both of Stockholm, have been named to the dean'ls list for the fall 2013 semester at Lafayette College.

    Each student achieved at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

    Stephanie Romano of Oak Ridge was recognized for outstanding academic achievement at the University of Scranton.

    Romano received a Frank O'Hara medals from the Kania School of Management for academic achievement for her sophomore year. Romano is an accounting major and a member of Omega Beta Sigma (the women's business honor society) and the Business Leadership Honors Program. In 2013, she received the Pennsylvania Institute of Public Certified Accountants' Northeastern Chapter Scholarship. Romano, a resident assistant, also won the most valuable player award and Landmark Conference honors during her 2013 softball season.

    Brittani Hetyei of Hamburg was named to the president's list at Bentley University for the fall 2013 semester.

    To be named to the President's List, a full-time student must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher with no course grade below 3.0 during the term.

    Anthony Lacey of Ogdensburg was named to the dean's list at Bentley University for the fall 2013 semester.

    To be named to the Dean's List, a full-time student must have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher with no course grade below 2.0 during the term.

    Rebecca Messasno of Oak Ridge, Samantha Carter of Ogdensburg and Christina Orleanski of Lafayette were named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at Caldwell College.

    In order to achieve this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.

    Jared Alosio of Lafayette has accepted a paid summer internship with Zimmer as an Extremities Research and Development Engineering Intern.

    Zimmer is a global leader of orthopedic products and instruments in over 100 countries with 130,000 products worldwide. Alosio is in his second year at Duke University, where he is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is a 2012 graduate of High Point Regional High School.

    Mathison McConville of Hamburg was one of hundreds of students to participate in the University of Delaware's alternative spring break program.

    The program, now housed in the Institute for Global Studies, sent about 200 students to participate in alternative spring break projects last week in New Orleans, Florida, New Jersey, West Virginia, Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.

    Geovanna Lami of Franklin was named to the president's list at Berkeley College for the fall 2013 semester.

    Berkeley College students who achieve a grade point average of 4.00 with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the dresident’s List.

    Mariah Persaud of Hamburg was named to the dean's list at Berkeley College for the fall 2013 semester.

    Students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the dean’s List.

    William Zschack of Franklin, Nicole Kirkos of Hamburg, Lauren Monti, Thomas Higginson and Steven Siek, all of Stockholm and Kimberly VanVlet, Codi Beauvais and Alepty Dwyer, all of Lafayette, and Ivelisse Cruz of Oak Ridge were named to the dean's list at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

    Students earning 12 or more credits in a given term are considered for the Dean’s List using the criteria for full-time students. Students earning between eight and 11 credits are eligible for the Dean’s List using the criteria for part-time students.
