    Alexis Bishop of Oak Ridge, N.J., is among the 212 students recently named Susquehanna University Scholars.
    The annual Scholars Program, held on Nov. 3, recognized Susquehanna's most successful student scholars. To be named a University Scholar, students must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 in full-time study for the past two semesters or equivalent credit hours of part-time study.
    Bishop is a a political science and creative writing major in the Class of 2018. A 2012 graduate of Jefferson Township High School, she is the daughter of Thomas and Jennifer Bishop.
    Hardyston resident Paige Dunlap was cast as Belinda in Curry College's production of "Noises Off".
    Dunlap, a senior communication major and daughter of Gary Dunlap and Susan O'Connor, made her Curry Theatre debut performing as Madge in "The World-Famous Farce of Peter Quill" in November. She has been involved behind the scenes for past productions and currently serves on the theatre supervisory board as the Absolute Improv liaison.
    Justine Cieslik of Stockholm has been named to the dean's list at Rutgers-New Brunswick for the fall 2017 semester.
    Nancy Fried of Hamburg received fa master of science in Nursing from Wilkes University.
    Wilkes University awarded 369 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees when it held its winter commencement ceremony on Sunday, January 21 after the completion of the fall 2017 semester.
