Gina E. Dalesandro of Netcong was named to the president’s list at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. for the fall 2009 semester. Sparta residents Staci M. Rossi and Brandon M. Transier were named to the dean’s list for fall 2009 semester at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. Daniel McDougal of Lafayette was named to the dean’s commendation list for the fall 2009 semester at Gettysbury College in Pennsylvania. Dedra Pritchard of Lake Hopatcong and Jaclyn Marques of Sparta were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. John Kaschak of Lake Hopatcong was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semesster at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa. Tyler Miceli of Sparta graduated from the University of New Haven in Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Gabrielle Giuliano of Sparta was named to the Dean’s List at Fairfield University in Connecticut for the fall 2009 semester. Naum Minchin of Sparta and Jesse Lerch of Wantage were named to the dean’s list honors for the fall 2009 semester at Connecticut College in New London, Conn. Northeastern University in Boston has named the following local students to its dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester. They are: Ogdensburg resident Caitlin Dunn, Sparta residents Hannah Lowery Justine Carlucci, Sarah Macios, Derek Owen, Megan Powers, Kenneth Shin, Sean Tooley, Gregory Williamson and Sean Zensen; Stanhope resident Matthew Little. Kaitlyn Jankowski of Sparta was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Amanda Kent, a 2009 graduate of Pope John High School made the dean’s list for the fall 2009 at The Ramapo College of New Jersey. Kandace Pollison of Sparta was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at the College of New Jersey in Ewing. The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania: Alyssa V. Carlson, of Sparta, a junior majoring in special education; Jessica M. Mann, of Sparta, a senior majoring in elementary education; Marissa M. Tanner, of Sparta, a senior majoring in physical education; Colleen E. Williams, of Sparta, a junior majoring in elementary/special eduction; Lindsay D. Williams, of Sparta, a junior majoring in elementary education. Sarah Calderone, of Sparta, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Drew University in Madison. Kathryn Martin, of Sparta, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Ithaca College. She is a freshman in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance.
