Joseph Vengen of Oak Ridge has been accepted into the honors program at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Joseph is a first-year student in the mechanical engineering program in RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineering.
Steven D'Angeli of Lafayette was recognized with the 2014 Environmental Science Capstone Award at the annual Colby-Sawyer College Scholars and Leaders Ceremony on Friday, May 2.
The Colby-Sawyer Capstone experience differs from major to major, but its purpose is to ensure that all seniors demonstrate their accumulated knowledge through action and effectively communicate their knowledge and actions to others in an interdisciplinary setting.
The Capstone Award recognizes those students who have surpassed the college's expectations with their work.

To qualify for the Dean's List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average.

Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above. Wilhelm is a senior biology major.
Christina Batista of Ogdensburg and Kayleen Carroll of Franklin recently graduated from the Patient Care Technician (PCT) program at Berkeley College in Dover.
Graduates of the PCT program at Berkeley College are certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and are eligible to sit for the CPCT-A exam, as well as the Certified Electrocardiography and Certified Phlebotomy exams. Patient Care Technicians are prepared to work in a variety of healthcare environments, including hospitals, mental health facilities and rehabilitation centers.
