Byram Township resident Laura Flynn, a junior at Montclair State University, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester. Jennifer Carey of Byram Township was a recipient of the dean’s award for academic excellence during the fall 2008 semester at Colgate University. A 2008 graduate of Lenape Valley Regional High School, Carey is pursuing a double major in economics and political science. She is a member of the college newspaper staff and a member of the College Republicans. Melissa Flynn of Byram Township has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at the University of Rhode Island. A group of area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Felician College, with campuses in Rutherford and Lodi. The are: Lee Ann McCarth and Stephen Murrell of Newton; Stanhope residents Margaret Madden and Maria Tsilio. A group of area students were recently named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at The University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn. They are: Kristen Lasky of Andover; Noelle Staufenberger of Blairstown; Belinda Kotler of Lake Hopatcong; and Sparta residents Taylor Koriakin and Jamie Tuttrup.
