Agency supporters are honored

Recipients of the 2009 Mosaic Awards from Project Self-Sufficiency gathered at its recent Mosaic Awards to recognize individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations that have provided support to the agency during the past year. The 13th annual awards “are based on the idea that everyone can make a contribution, no matter what the size, and the result is a collaboration which has the power to change the lives of thousands of families in Sussex County,” according to officials. Dr. George Wilson, former superintendent of Sussex County Vocational Technical School, received the President’s Award, given in memory of the late Michael J.
