About 3 p.m., the body of a man was discovered in a wooded area in Lynn Park, a half-mile from the fire scene. The investigation confirmed that the man found was the driver of the vehicle involved in the fire.
The cause of death was pending findings of the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office, but there was no indication of suspicious criminal activity, the statement said.
