Yaskovic's photos featured at Andre's Restaurant this month

NEWTON Robert Yaskovic of Stillwater, owner of “Yaskovic Wedding + Portrait,” is displaying a selection of instant photos from a Fuji Instax camera at Andre’s Restaurant in Newton this month. The photos are “Polaroid-like photos” meant for parties and business use, according to Yaskovic. The images were taken last summer and fall in the New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania area and are available for purchase. Yaskovic is a professional photographer and is an award wining staff photographer for the New Jersey Herald. His work has been published in The New York Times, Relevant Times Magazine, The Milford Journal, and done work for New Era Cap Company and The New Jersey State Fair. He was commissioned by Project Self Sufficency to create 33 portraits of its clients called “Portraits of Hope.” Exhibit hours will be during Andre’s regular dinner hours from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays; and 5 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. “We love to be able to have a space for local artists to showcase their work and we feel so lucky to be able to change the look of our restaurant so often,” said owner Tracey deWaal. Local artists have been exhibiting their work at Andre’s for over a year with artists, changing about every six weeks. For more information or to submit artwork for an exhibition call 973-300-4192.
