‘Words and Music, the Music of Broadway's Dynamic Duos' is this weekend

SPARTA - The Cornerstone Playhouse Concert Series will present “Words and Music, the Music of Broadway’s Dynamic Duos,” this weekend. Audiences will be entertained with favorites from “The Sound of Music,” “42nd Street,” “Cinderella,” “Scarlet Pimpernel” and more from composers and lyricists teams such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Gilbert and Sullivan, Kander and Ebb, Lerner and Lowe. The 25-member cast from local communities will have the audience sing some Rodgers and Hammerstein favorites, according to organizers. Performances are at the Lake Mohawk Country Club, 21 the Boardwalk on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20 and 21 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 students or seniors.
