Branchville — Lewis Carroll’s tale of a little girl who once fell through the looking glass into a zany uncharted land comes to life when Little Lost Arts presents “Wonderland!” on May 1 and 2 at the Ratsch Theater on Broad St. in Branchville. Written by James DeVita, with an upbeat contemporary score by Bill Francouer, this musical follows the adventures of Alice, who, tired of obeying her mother, journeys back to Wonderland to become a queen, so she can give the orders. Along the way, she meets up with the White Rabbit, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Humpty Dumpty, and other favorite Wonderland characters. Directed by Sheri Flannery Verrilli, and performed by a cast of Sussex County residents, the show features Hannah Orr as Alice, and includes Marty Novak, Melanie Richeda, Courtney Verrilli, Cody Riker, Ali Castellucci, Justine Collins, Paige Dunlap, Jenny Hayes, Liah Patterson, Kaya Jellinek, Micael-Anne Verrilli, Lily Jastrebski, Jamie Dunlap, Mallory Collins, and Madeline Patterson. The May 1 performance is at 7:30 p.m; and 2 p.m. on May 2. General admission tickets are $10 for ages four to 12; and $12 for ages 13 to adult (no children under four, please).
