‘Winter Festival of Shows' premieres

Three musicals featured in 10-day series Hackettstown - The Centenary Young Performers Workshop’s Winter Festival of Shows will run Dec. 11 to 20, featuring three musicals: “Charlotte’s Web The Musical,” “Hello, Dolly” and “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.” The show schedule is: “Charlotte’s Web”: Friday, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 13 at 4 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 19 at 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. “Hello, Dolly”: Saturday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 19 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. “How To Succeed”: Saturday, Dec. 12 at 8 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 18 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. All performances and interviews will be held at the Centenary Theatre in Hackettstown. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children under 12, and can be purchased through the Centenary Box office at 908-979-0900 or online at www.centenarystageco.org. Additionally, The Centenary Young Performers Workshop also offers a school matinee series, in conjunction with the festival, with performances throughout the day on Tuesday and Thursday to accommodate school children in the region. The series will feature “Charlotte’s Web” on Tuesday, Dec. 15 and Thursday, Dec. 17 at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. The student matinee group discounted ticket price is $5. Interviews for the upcoming Feb. 13 to May 30, 2010 session will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 12 noon and Saturday, Dec. 19 at 12 noon.
