West Milford Players performing hilarious Murdered to Death'

Celebrate 30 years of live theater in West Milford West Milford The award-winning West Milford Players, celebrating 30 years of bringing live theater to the area, are pleased to present their winter show, “Murdered To Death.” “Murdered to Death” is a hilarious murder mystery by Peter Gordon, and is directed by Rich Ahrens and June Downey. This comedic spoof of an Agatha Christie work is set in a country manor house with a cast of characters the audience will recognize. Will the murderer be unmasked before everyone has met their doom, or will the audience die laughing first? “We are so pleased to be around for 30 years,” said Erika Crocco, president of the West Milford Players says. “Most theater groups don’t get to stay around as long as we have and it is our audience and members that we have to thank for their continued support.” The winter show, as always, will benefit a non-profit organization. The Players are pleased to donate some of its proceeds to Homes For Our Troops. This organization assists severely injured servicemen and servicewomen and their families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor, and coordinates the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live independently. You will be supporting this worthy cause by attending one of the six shows. Show dates are Feb. 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 - Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m., at the Hillcrest Community Center, 1810 Macopin Road, West Milford, N.J.
