Warwick Valley Quilters' Guild (WVQG) is hosting its "Stars of the Valley Quilt Show" on Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, at Sanfordville Elementary School.

This biennial show will feature 150 quilts judged by National Quilting Association certified judges. Quilt submission is open to guild and non-guild members. There will be free quilt lectures by George Siciliano and Meg Cox, a merchant mall, door prizes, the WVQG Boutique, Quilters' Cafe and special quilt exhibits. A spectacular quilt, "Valley Trails," created by guild members will be raffled.

Admission is $8; those 12 and under are free.

WVQG was founded in 1982 to create, stimulate and maintain an interest in all matters pertaining to the making, collecting and preserving of quilts. Currently the guild has 150 members from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the NQA Chapter 223.
