Walkathon benefits shelter

    Augusta — CLAWS Cat Shelter will hold a Walkathon on Sunday, April 5, at the NJ State Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walkers can get pledge forms by contacting CLAWS at 973-875-8540. Registration on the day of the event is at the admissions building. All proceeds will benefit CLAWS Cat Rescue and Adoption Shelter located at 28 Pelletown Rd., Augusta. The shelter rescues abandoned and homeless cats and places them in new homes.
