The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Center is hosting a lecture by renowned Sussex County historian Kevin Wright at 7 p.m. Sept. 17. Fee for this lecture is $15. The presentation is a preview of the annual Historic House Tour that will take place the following day, Saturday Sept. 18. The tour will feature five homes and one church in downtown Newton. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Arts & Heritage center located at 9 Moran Street in Newton. Tickets are $25 for council members and $27 for non members. Pre-registration suggested.
