Vernon Choral Society featuring South Pacific tunes

Vernon — The Community Choral Society will present its spring concert, entitled “At the Water’s Edge,” on Sunday, June 7. The program will feature selections from Rogers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” as well as a collection of traditional selections of music from America and the British Isles. The program will be presented at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Route 94 in Vernon at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the concert. Director Danielle Kastner conducts the Community Choral Society, with Eleanore O’ Mara of accompanying on piano, and guest pianist, Cherwyn Ambuter, performing a selection of impressionist pieces.
