Tri-State Actors Theater's Spring Fling gala offers music, comedy and food

SUSSEX — The Tri-State Actors Theater opens its 23rd season with a Spring Fling 2010 gala night fundraiser tomorrow, March 27 at the Crescent Theater, 74 Main St., Sussex. “Downstairs in the Black Box Theater” with wine tastings, hors d’oeuvres and music by Glenn Zervas on the acoustic guitar begins at 6:30 p.m. Guests are invited to bid on silent auction items that will include several works of art, dinner and theater tickets, and other items. Coffee and desserts will be served “Upstairs on the Mainstage” where the music continues with guitarists/singers Ava Rae Heatley and Carl Ferriere. The evening will also feature the Masterful Comedy of actors and stand-up comics Bill Edwards and Scotty Watson. Gala Tickets are $40 per person in advance and $45 per person at the door. Main Street parking is limited and patrons are encouraged to use the free municipal parking lot on Harrison Street, directly behind the theater. For tickets and information call 973-875-2950.
