Tinsel Time for seniors at Lafayette House

Lafayette — The Sussex County YMCA’s Active Older Adults (AOA) are preparing for Tinsel Time, a holiday luncheon to be held at the Lafayette House in Olde Lafayette Village on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and pre-registration is required. The ticket price is $22 and includes a full course meal, dancing courtesy of DJ Brandon of Vernon, games and door prizes. At the luncheon, current AOA members will have the opportunity to reflect on a very successful year of activities and welcome new or prospective members. AOA days held at the YMCA this past year provided seniors with water aerobics, chair yoga, country line dancing and potluck Lunch & Learn sessions with prominent guest speakers from the area.
