Theater founder visits school

SUSSEX Finding himself in front of a class of 8th grade students at Kittatinny Regional High School, Paul Meacham captured their attention and enthusiasm by telling tales about his experiences with actors and the theater. Meacham is the founder and artistic director of the Tri-State Actors Theater in Sussex and a living example of a lifestyle that pulls people on stage in front of the lights. He spoke about the passion that actors feel for their profession and as a consequence, the emotional trials and tribulations that go hand in hand with this career. The Tri-State Actors Theater is a professional theater for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. It have a youth intern program which gives students an opportunity to perform for the children’s theater productions and receive training in every phase of the theater’s operations.
