That Butterfly Guy is coming to Ringwood

Ringwood — Ringwood Garden Club will encore “That Butterfly Guy” at its regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Ringwood Library on Canucci Drive. Here’s your chance to catch his fast-paced and high-energy performance. His zany costumes and patter will tickle you and your children. Rick Mikula, an internationally recognized lecturer, will give a slide presentation on the beauty of butterflies. He will discuss constructing a habitat for these magical creatures and will demonstrate the mystery of camouflage and disguise that butterflies and moths use to escape predators with his mounted specimens. Butterfly gardening will also be covered The high point of his presentation are the sensational live butterflies. Rick will demonstrate just how easily they can be handled and cared for. You will come away from the program exhilarated and enthused. The public is encouraged to come join the fun with the garden club. Bring the kids along. Refreshments will be served.
